BIOGRAPHY

Christine, born in New York, started her international career at the age of 16 in Switzerland and became a principal ballerina by the age of 20 with the Zürich Ballet, Director Uwe Scholz.  Scholz created many works for her as his leading ballerina.  She also danced the title roles in The Sleeping Beauty, La Sylphide, Romeo and Juliet, A Midsummer Nights Dream, and many other works.

She performed with the Leipzig, Bern and Düsseldorf companies in title roles in works by several internationally acclaimed choreographers in both classical and contemporary repertoire, including Jiri Kilian, George Balanchine, Hans Van Manen and Martin Schläpfer.

Christine loves teaching Adult Ballet with a focus on the uplifting and empowering qualities it brings as a dance form - to enjoy and delight in it’s range of expression.
